Billy Childish is an English Musician, Artist, Author, Poet, Photographer and Filmmaker. He has published more than 40 collections of poetry, written four novels and produced more than 2,500 paintings. He has recorded more than 100 full-length independent LPs of punk, rock'n'roll, and Medway-delta blues over 30 years with The Pop Rivets, Thee Milkshakes, Thee Mighty Caesers, Thee Headcoats, The Buff Medways and now with the Musicians of the British Empire.
Cited as a genius by the likes of Beck, Nirvana, Patti Smith and the White Stripes, Billy has always worked on the outside of mainstream culture, earning a reputation as the embodiment of rock ‘n’ roll integrity with his uncompromising stance. A true Maverick!
