Artist Bio

Mudhoney (Sub Pop), a grunge band formed in Seattle in 1988 from the remains of Green River, is made up of vocalist Mark Arm, drummer Dan Peters, guitarist Steve Turner and bassist Guy Maddison. Mudhoney’s early releases – the ‘Touch me I’m Sick’ single and the ‘Superfuzz Bigmuff’ EP were very influential in the Seattle music scene and helped inspire the dirty, high distortion sound that would later characterize grunge. Although nearly calling it a day in 2001, Mudhoney have remained together for over twenty years and have recorded and released eight albums.
